I saw the movie Amsterdamned ever seen on someone's birthday somewhere in the 90 years. This reveals that I already close to 30 years old, but has the launch date of the band is even further Amsterdamned (1980). Because the band in 1987 in the towel gave many kids of today will no longer familiar with the band. Gummopunx this release tries to change it.
Through the compilation "If you look good" I had already heard of this band, but never really looked further. Now there is a completely new release of the old work. With three previously heard songs (OK, two demos from 1987 and a live track, but still!) and the numbers of the "if you look good" compilation is an excellent acquisition for connoisseurs and newcomers. "Sure the songs are simple and a bit raw, but all in all, the set of 9 numbers for any collector of Dutch 80s hardcore punk is not something to ignore is. Remarkably good vocals on tracks that way after more than 25 years still sounds just fine. Pick up this 7 "!
